In 1979 David started working for an agent who had offices in Cobar, Wilcannia and Ivanhoe where he was responsible for selling and buying livestock and merchandise. In 1984 David married Gail and bought the company and started trading as Dalgety Russell. David is a licensed Stock & Station Agent, Real Estate Agent, Auctioneer and holds a private pilot's licence. David & Gail are also pastoralists and divide their time between running Landmark Russell and operating a sheep and cattle station near Tilpa on the Darling River. Some of David's many achievements include being named the number one listing agent in the Landmark Harcourts network in 2016.
