The property is strategically located approx. 95km south-east of Charters Towers and 230kms from Townsville and is adjacent to the Burdekin Dam. Its climate is characterised by hot summers and mild winters, coupled to an average annual rainfall of approximately 649 millimetres and is very well regarded for beef production.
Topography: predominantly undulating topography with occasional hills surrounded by dissected slopes.
Pastures: Developed Softwood scrub carrying buffel and legumes approx.10,000 acres Cat x with approx.6,000 acres recently repulled.
Also carrying established Beffel, Seca, Wynn Cassia, Urachloa and Indian Couch, and natives.
Soil types: red earths, a variety of hard, sandy, red and yellow duplex soils and a mixture of bleached sands and sandy grey earths.
Water: significant access to the Burdekin River and Dam, 3 equipped bores (submersibles or solar), 27* dams many newly constructed and fenced, a variety of natural springs. Stock water is reticulated to 22 troughs via extensive poly piping.
